Summer Writing

Currently, I'm suffering from a huge pressure to write. Usually in the summer I try to write a draft of a novel for young adults. Last summer was overly busy with a trip to the British Isles, a move for my now-disabled father from California, and another installment of Split Rock writing. I got nothing at all done with my writing last summer. The Pressure is really on now.

Another concern, I suppose, is what I'll work on. I have three somewhat decent, though all half-developed books I want to write. The only problem is when I sit down to write them, I get bogged down with where it's all going and end up listening to Guster or Muse or David Bowie instead of actually producing something of substance of my own.
