Most Recent Novel

The most recent novel I'm writing is called...well, I don't want to give the title out yet. The story is about a girl named Hannah whose sister is abducted by the River Rapist, who is known for raping, mutilating, and leaving red-headed girls by the river. Hannah's sister Abby is recovered before she can be mutilated as the River Rapist is interrupted. The rest of the story is about how Abby deals with her recovery and how Hannah watches her sister become the human being she used to be before she was sucked into the popularity aspect of high school.

Together the two girls retrieve their relationship and they seek out information about the River Rapist to stop him from finding and killing another girl. Little do they know that he has set his sights on Hannah.

I've been working on it for some time now, with a huge lull during the school year, of course. I'm hoping all of the time I've had away from it will give me a fresh look at it and improve the parts I don't think are very good. Also, I'm hoping I'll be able to figure out the best way to finish the story. I have an idea, but my wife said I was wrong about the way the last book ended...
